Baby Logs: Filled In Sample Log

Here is a log that's been filled in, just as an example of how we used it.  The times, amounts, and details are completely fictional!!  This is just to give you an idea of what you can write down to keep track of basic details in case your pediatrician asks, or in case you have problems and want to detect patterns in your baby's behavior.

Baby Logs: Blank Single Log

Feel free to copy and paste this chart for your own use!  I created a document with two of these, side by side, that fit onto one sheet of computer paper.  Then I printed them off front and back, by the dozens, to last a few months.  I punched holes and put them in a 3-ring folder.  This was kept by my bed or in the living room so I could jot down important details.  If I didn't write things down, I would completely forget them.  Since I was in such a fog for the first few months (or years) we have yet to complete baby books for our twin boys!  But thankfully I did write down milestone notes in these logs, so I know I can look back through if I want to find something.
